Jay Peak Blue 5K September 5

  • Part of the Jay Peak Trail Fest (Labor Day weekend); all races start at Stateside Lodge.
  • Matches the festival’s Blue Square 5k (listed as ~5.6 km / 3.5 miles): Saturday, Sept 5, 9:30 a.m. at the Stateside Baselodge Pavilion.
  • About 700 ft of climb—mix of mowed nordic trails and singletrack with big views.
  • Chip timing, stocked aid stations, medals, and grab-and-go food at the finish; lodging discount codes for registrants (per the event site).

Jay Peak 11-Miler September 6

  • 17.7 km / 11 miles, one lap around Jay Peak; Sunday, Sept 6, 8:00 a.m. start at the Stateside Hotel Pavilion.
  • 3,000+ ft of elevation gain—challenging but doable; same loop used in the festival ultra, with an 11-hour course cutoff.
  • Stocked aid stations, well-marked course, safety checkpoints, and a pizza & beer after-party; finishers get a classic Vermont-made wooden “medal.”
  • Optional course/race debrief Saturday (Sept 5), 7:30 p.m. in the Bullwheel Bar at Stateside—recommended for first-timers.
